Scientific Information: Hessonite is a variety of the GARNET group, specifically a GROSSULAR garnet, with a distinctive orange to reddish-brown color primarily due to its manganese content. While iron can also affect the color to some extent, manganese is the main contributor to Hessonite's unique hue. More or less orange (due to small iron content in the form of Fe3+) variety of Grossular garnet. Unlike other garnets such as PYROPE and ALMANDINE, which are typically red to deep purple, Hessonite's color and properties are distinct. Grossular garnets, which include Hessonite, can also be green or colorless, differentiating them from other types in the garnet family.

Photos: The photos are taken in a dedicated set with strong lighting. We strive to avoid altering the color of the specimens shown. However, it is advised to keep the minerals in well-lit places to fully appreciate their color.

Crystal Therapy: Many people find healing properties in minerals, including the HESSONITE Garnet and CLINOCLORO. They are used in crystal therapy for their believed ability to promote emotional healing and stability.

Shipping: Shipping is usually carried out the day after purchase with tracking and careful packaging. Orders from the same customer will be combined, and excess shipping costs will be refunded either within the package or through other means, according to prior agreement.
